Samsung's Next Galaxy Unpacked is Feb. 1: Reserve and Score Up to a $100 Credit

It's officially the first launch event announced from a technology company for 2023 that isn't part of a larger show like CES. Samsung will be taking the stage on Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time for a Galaxy Unpacked special event.
The technology giant sent out invites depicting the Unpacked branding along with three spotlights casting three circles. Reading into it, it’s easy to say three devices are incoming. The circles themselves look pretty similar to the camera arrangement on the Galaxy S smartphone series as well.
Historically, the Spring Unpacked event is when Samsung focuses on its Galaxy S line of devices. In 2022 the Galaxy S22 family made their debuts alongside a pair of Galaxy Buds. For 2023, our bet would be on the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra. These non-folding smartphones will likely aim to impress with improved cameras, performance and maybe even a surprise feature or two.
Just like Samsung offered during the Aug. 2022 Unpacked—in which the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Z Fold 4, Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro were unveiled—they’ve already opened up the option to pre-reserve whatever is coming.
It is fully free to do so and comes with no commitment, but it does unlock two pretty sweet offers. If you preorder one device you’ll get a $50 Samsung Credit and pre ordering two gets you $100 of Samsung credit.
Once the devices are announced, if you’re interested, you’ll be able to easily preorder and stack this credit with any of the other deals. Including Samsung’s usually pretty enticing trade-in promotions.
Who Should Pre-Reserve for Samsung's Feb. 1 Galaxy Unpacked Event?
